Rather like the Lonnie Donegan question, this one falls into the category labelled "what else could it be"?
Possibly baseball, or even rounders; but I don't remember ever being asked about fielding positions in either of those sports. In a quiz – at least in this country – if the words "fielding position" come up, it's got to be cricket.
